Emma Turns 6!

My sweet girl turned 6 and celebrated with a Pinkalicious themed party.  She is such a joy to have around and loves...being crafty, drawing, reading, dancing, all things pink, helping others, bubbles, balloons and puppet shows.  I'm so blessed to be your mom!

Max's Day!

Guess who is potty trained?!  So proud of him!  His reward was a trip to Build-a-Bear, the Disney Store, and time in the play area at the mall.  He was so excited!

Yay!

The weekend is finally here!  It's been a long and crazy week.  Looking forward to relaxing (if that's possible with 3 kids) a bit.

On Sunday, we headed out to the Zoo to use our Family Pass for the very first time only to discover it was $5 Walmart Sunday.  I knew it was as soon as we got off the interstate...because this happened to us last year!  You think I would have remembered.  There were way too many cars going in that direction.  It looked like everyone in the city of Atlanta was there, too.  Cars were parked everywhere.  We had to quickly decide where to take the kids now.  Imagine It!  popped into my head and the little kids had been asking to go see the Clifford exhibit...so, that's where we went.  They had just as much fun.  Allie wasn't really digging it, though. Way too old! :)

Memory Lane

My family and I recently toured my father's childhood home in southwest Atlanta.  It just went on the market and we were able to take a little trip down memory lane.  It was built in 1937 and my dad lived there throughout his childhood along with his 4 siblings.  It was a real treat for me to step inside and envision all of the fun they must have had there.  I've heard many stories over the years and have seen a lot of pictures.  So, it was really nice to actually see it with my own eyes. 

  Of course, it looks a little different now, and needs a lot of work.  But, the trip was priceless.
