Last Friday, Mark had the privilege of chaperoning Allie's class on a field trip to the Little White House in Warm Springs. They chartered a bus and had a really fun time! I went years ago with my family and didn't mind missing out on this trip.
Here's her entire class posing for a group shot! It had been raining all day and they were lucky to get this picture!
This was FDR's 1938 Ford. The museum is filled with many of his personal items.
Here's the famous "Unfinished Portrait". Allie was in charge of the camera and took pictures of every single thing in the museum and house!

Sisters
Here's another "before church" shot. Obviously, they love to dress up. Of course, I have saved ALL of Allie's clothes for Emma. This little dress was one of my favorites...it has a brown dog on the bottom...you can't see it in the picture, though. The matching dog purse makes me laugh. I guess you could say Emma is wearing vintage Gymboree...LOL!
I'm so glad they can grow up together. Before Emma was born, there were many nights that Allie used to beg for a little sister. It used to make me so sad...and now look at them! She enjoys smiling for the camera now! I can't wait to see how this baby boy fits into the mix!

Getting Ready!
This is the latest photo of our little guy. He already weighs 2 lbs. 2 oz...as of last week! I will be 27 weeks this Wednesday and it's going by pretty fast! We are getting ready to start on his room. Mark will be putting up the crown moulding as soon as I decide on the official paint color...and get the walls painted. I can't wait!

Emma, the Artist
Here is the very FIRST smiley face Emma drew...all by herself!!!!! I am so proud of these little drawings. Over the last two weeks she has really become quite the artist. She LOVES crayons, markers, pencils, pens, etc. She's not even 3 years old yet!
Before bedtime, she drew this little face...with hair...so cute!
More little smiley faces. She is so proud of herself and loves to tell me who they are. Some of them even have eyebrows...how hilarious!
These make my heart melt! I want her to stay this little forever!

Our Weekend...
We had another busy weekend around here and didn't get too much done around the house. The baby's room still needs to be painted!
We went to church Saturday morning and then headed to California Dreaming for lunch in Kennesaw. It was so good! My parents came over that evening and we had dinner and Allie and my Mom made her famous banana pudding. That was a real treat considering I am hungry ALL the time!Eating lunch at California Dreaming...we'll definitely be back! They had the best grilled chicken...ever!
Allie and the famous banana pudding! Yum! She loved making it!
On Sunday, we went to see "Hotel for Dogs" with Mark's mom and step-dad and ate at I-Hop after that. All we did was eat ALL weekend!

RVing!...sort of
Last Friday, my cousin, Tonya (in the brown sweater) and her family from Nashville stopped in Atlanta overnight in their new RV. They were on their way to Disney World. We were supposed to meet them for dinner at Los Reyes but they were stuck in traffic for 2 hours (because of an accident). We ended up going to Marietta Pizza company with my parents and then met them afterwards to see the RV. The girls loved visiting with their cousins and had so much fun! We're ready for a road trip!
Hanging out with the cousins...it sure beats riding in the back seat!
This is definitely the way to travel! It had so much room! I wish we had one!
Allie and Tara having fun together! A girl could really get used to this!
Dad secretly wants one, too! In fact, we have been with him to the huge RV Show here in Atlanta twice!
Donna and Jerry (Tonya's parents) came out to see everyone, too. We had so much fun with y'all!

My Day...
This pretty much sums up my day! I am worn out...and yes, Emma created this tortilla mask all by herself. Lucky me!

Talent Show Tryout
Allie and her friend tried out for the school Talent Show on Friday. They did a cute, little singing and dancing routine to the song "Unwritten". Do not ask me where she gets the desire to do these kinds of things because it's definitely NOT from me!
Here they are on stage...getting ready to start! Look at all of the judges!!! I'm so proud of her! There's no way I could have done that!
Showing off one of their signature moves! We'll find out soon if she made it. Sixty different acts tried out!

Fun in the Snow!
We had about two inches of snow at our house on Sunday! The girls were so excited, of course! I've never seen flakes that big before...it was just beautiful!
All bundled up and ready to play! We only stayed out for about 10 minutes! It was too cold and windy to stay out longer.
This is definitely not a sight you see often in Georgia...especially in March!
After all this snow, we still had school the next day! In fact we still have some snow on the ground today!
Snowball Fight!!! The snow was a little too mushy. I'm sorry we didn't save any for snow ice cream!
Emma kept covering her eyes from the blowing snow. It was sooooo cold! She loved it, though!
