The associate pastor of our church has been coming to our house every Sunday night to have a more in depth  Bible Study with Allie.  At the conclusion of these studies, she will be baptized.  I'm so proud of her decision to do this and accept Jesus into her heart.

These two miss each other so much now that Emma is in Kindergarten.  You should see them when she gets home.  It melts my heart!

Field of Flags

We took the kids to see over 3,000 flags in front of Kennesaw Mountain today.  The flags represented the lives lost on Sept. 11.  It was really an impressive sight and encouraged us to pause and remember the significance of today.

Crazy Busy!

It has been a 3 ring circus around here lately...

Max had to visit the ER with Croup last Sunday at 2:30 in the morning and has just finished up his round of steroids today.  Last week, my oven caught on fire while it was preheating...so, I now have a brand new range...yay!  Oh, and we had a case of identity theft to deal with, too.  We (or should I say Mark) painted the formal living room, dining room, kitchen, and family room a brand new shade...cameo white from Benjamin Moore...love it!  This is all in addition to 3 nights a week of dance, etc.!  

But, I did manage to pull out the fall decorations and put some of them up today!

First Bus Ride

This little cutie is LOVING Kindergarten!

This was taken before her very first bus ride.  The Friday before school started, the bus did a stop run-through and all K-2 students could do a practice ride with their parent.  Mark got to go...lucky him! ;)
