One day during our February break, Mark took the afternoon off and we had another family picnic...since the last one was so enjoyable. This time, we went to Kennesaw Mountain and had a picnic lunch right outside the welcome center in a really nice shady area. After that, we took a QUICK stroll through the museum (because that's what you do when you have 3 kids under the age of 10) and then drove up the mountain. Maybe one day, when the little kids are a bit older, we'll hike it!
Getting ready to visit the museum. Emma got a kick out of seeing pictures of Abraham Lincoln there because they had finished studying about him in preschool. I've lived here my entire life and am still fascinated by all of the Civil War history right here in our back yard.
