Memorial Day Weekend

It was so nice to have a long weekend! On Saturday, we met Mark's mom and step-dad for lunch and basically just chilled out the rest of the day. However, on Sunday, we painted Allie's bedroom a beautiful pale green and moved my childhood bedroom set into her room...what a job this turned out to be!!! Moving all of her current furniture (along with all of the stuff she has outgrown) into the extra bedroom was no fun! We still have to put up new curtains and finish decorating. I will post some pictures as soon as it is completed. Today, after my parents got home from the beach, we grilled out and had some really great homemade strawberry shortcake...yum! I am exhausted!
