Smile!
I am so thankful that I'm able to stay home with my girls. Little Emma is such a joy to be around every day and constantly cracks me up with what comes out of her mouth. Sometimes, I can't believe that she is only 2. I bought some new clothes from The Gap yesterday for both girls and Emma told me that she was going to wear her new outfit to preschool! What?!!! She will not even be going to preschool until next August...that makes me really sad to even think about it. I guess when you have a big sister like Allie, you learn quickly...lol!
The highlight of her day is getting Allie off the bus!
What a nice way to end the day...

Moving Week
This week, Mark is moving his graphic design and t-shirt printing business into a new office! With 1,500 square feet, he has plenty of room for all of his equipment in the warehouse and two air-conditioned rooms. Over the weekend, we spent some time there and the girls are so thrilled with this new place to hang out. It's very close to home and we're thankful for that.
After everything is moved in, this is where he'll be spending the majority of his time.
This is the "office" part of the building. His desk and computer will go in this room. We'll probably change this wall color.
The caption pretty much sums this up.
There is a very nice, air-conditioned office space up here, too. However, I am not a fan of the steep stairs...so, I will not be venturing up there too frequently. Allie, on the other hand, loves going up there and calls it "her office".
This place has a lot of little alcoves to hide in. Emma discovered those first.

The Falcons Suite
Friday night, we went to the Falcons game and got to sit inside an Executive Suite. Mark's step-father let us use his company tickets and let me tell you...this is the WAY to go! We had the best time! Kathy and Stacy went...along with Stacy's nephew and Danny, Mark's step-dad. The food was so good!
It will be hard to sit in the "regular" seats again after this!
The seats were perfect and we had a great view of everything. Thanks, Danny!
We were loving every minute of the game...and they won!

No More Pink!
All summer long, we worked on redecorating Allie's bedroom. We repainted the walls a pale, lime green color and got rid of practically everything pink...so sad...LOL! It's such a "pre-teen" room now. The bedroom furniture was mine when I was her age and it's really fun to be able to hand it down to her. She really loves it. I am thrilled with the way it turned out! We are currently working on a reading nook for her...will post about that later.

Future Teacher
This is what Emma has been doing the past few days...standing on a table and writing on the chalkboard in the kitchen! She begs everyone that comes over to put her up there. She just discovered this and it's driving me crazy. I can't stand chalk dust. When I was teaching, I had a chalkboard (and used dustless chalk on it) for a few years...I was so glad when it was replaced with a dry-erase board.

Fun...Always!
Mark had to print a logo on 155 stadium blankets for Walton HS Football last week. You should have seen his office...the blankets were everywhere! The girls had a field day with them. They looked like they were playing in a ball pit!
They are always entertaining each other!
