Way Back When...

Okay, Susan and Cheryl, this one is for you...lol! Do y'all remember going to Maggiano's when Shannon and John were back in town? That was forever ago! After seeing the recent Phi Mu Rush pictures on Facebook, I went searching for some of my old photos. Those were the days...What about this picture...bring back any memories? I did us all a favor and left out the one with the boys...LOL! Did you know that our sorority now has over 100 members? I believe they just gave bids to 47 new Phi's!!!! Can you believe that?! How awesome! It would be so much fun to go back and visit. It looks like they really have it all together. We must plan a big reunion, girls!

Third Day on Leno

You have to watch The Tonight Show tonight, July 29th!!! My high school friend's band, Third Day, is the musical guest!!! He's the third one from the left (above)...Mark Lee. He dated a very good friend of mine throughout much of high school...and we all used to hang out quite a bit. He is super talented and I can't wait to see them perform!! The lead singer, Mac Powell (above far left), also graduated with us from McEachern.
I see Mark around town from time-to-time and he is still the same, personable, fun-loving guy I remember!

Neighborhood Resort

This evening, we went to our neighbor's house for a little socializing, swimming, and dinner. They just had this pool put in and it is the perfect place for entertaining. We grilled and ate under the cabana...the salmon was so delicious! The girls had a great time playing with the other kids...there were 9 girls and only 1 boy! Emma got in the hot tub with me and did not want to get out...imagine that! This backyard looks like a mini resort! The Lake House

We had the BEST time at Lake Wedowee with our friends, Josh and Michelle, and their three kids! It was so much fun...I had forgotten how much I enjoyed being out on a ski boat! Allie loved being pulled on the tube...she is definitely my thrill seeker! Emma enjoyed it all and did really well on the boat. Their house was just amazing and perfect for vacationing or weekend get-aways! The Lake

Our friends, Josh and Michelle and their three kids, invited us to come hang out with them at their lake house on Lake Wedowee tomorrow. We are really looking forward to spending time with them, grilling out, and going out on their boat. It should be a lot of fun!

Kids' Bunco

My Bunco group held its annual "Kids' Bunco" last night. In other words, all of our children got together to attempt to play one round of bunco! There were a LOT of kids there, by the way!!! Girls Night Out!

Last night, I went out to dinner with some friends at Provino's. We had such a great time! There's never a dull moment when we're all together! Afterwards, we saw the new "Sex and the City" movie. It was so good!!! I'm a fan of the show and couldn't wait to see it on the big screen! I had fun girls!!!! By the way, the crazy photo of us by the SATC poster didn't turn out so good. Oh well. Ha!
